Hello, I'm Rachelle, a domestic violence Survivor and entrepreneur and I am deeply dedicated to advancing economic justice and breaking down systemic barriers. My efforts revolve around empowering Survivors, especially those who are or would like to be entrepreneurs, leveraging my own experiences to create a positive and meaningful impact in the world. In 2015, along with other domestic violence Survivors, I began building an amazing community through a nonprofit organization called SCARS (Survivor Collective Alliance Reaching Society). We came together to support each other's individual and collective healing and growth, and many of us also identified as entrepreneurs. However, barriers from past abuse and trauma, as well as societal stigma, have limited our growth and economic independence.

In 2023, I chose the word EMBRACE as my inspiration and decided to start a new collective Survivor community for business and professional advancement and growth. We are Allied Brands Collective, a one-of-a-kind website where socially conscious consumers can shop and support Survivor entrepreneurs. We are creating a space where people can learn about Survivor businesses and find referrals to Survivor-allied businesses, all in one place. Our website is not just a place to shop and support Survivor entrepreneurs; it's a community for Survivor entrepreneurs to connect for personal and professional trauma-informed support and for Survivor-allied businesses to be part of our vision.

I am excited to have my fellow survivors on this journey with me, and we can't wait to see where our venture leads. Join us at Allied Brands Collective, and let's build a better world together, one business at a time.
