I’ve been an Airbnb Superhost for 10 years, and in that time I’ve learned what makes people feel truly welcome. Now I’m taking that further — uplevelling my hosting into what I call the “Ohana” spirit, a value I got from my dad, who’s Hawaiian-born Japanese American. Ohana means treating people like family, and it’s reshaping how I welcome people into my home.

I host guests in the St. Johns/University Park neighborhood of Portland, but I’m not just handing over a key. I offer more of an “in-house bestie” experience — concierge, roommate, and neighborhood guide all in one. Think home-cooked meals made together (I stock the kitchen, we cook potluck-style), rides around town, and insider tips from someone who actually lives here.

I’m also building out small-group experiences around the neighborhood — including a Perfect Bite Tour (one perfect bite at several local spots, so you taste more without filling up early) and a local’s-eye nightlife tour.

Whether you’re staying with me or just want a local who knows where the good stuff is — my house, and my neighborhood, are yours.
